Company Property
Company property usage policy
All company equipment, inventory, and supplies are the property of the Company. While employees may use company-issued computers for personal purposes, this practice is generally discouraged for the following reasons:
- Security risks. Personal use can expose the organization to cybersecurity threats, such as malware or viruses, which may compromise sensitive company data.
- Loss of privacy. Employees should understand that using company devices for personal activities diminishes their right to privacy, as the Company reserves the right to monitor all activities conducted on its property.
- Productivity issues. Engaging in personal tasks during work hours can lead to decreased productivity and affect overall team performance.
- Complications during equipment return. Personal use may complicate the return process of company equipment, as employees may need to remove personal data, increasing the risk of losing important information.
Employees are required to report any equipment malfunctions to their direct supervisor or manager immediately.
By adhering to this policy, employees can responsibly use company resources while being aware of the implications regarding privacy and security.
Personnel files / record-keeping policy
We are required by law to maintain a record of your full legal name, current address, and Social Security number. Please keep us informed of any changes by updating your Gusto profile.
Inspecting your personnel file. In accordance with RCW 49.12.240–.260, Washington employees may inspect their personnel file at any reasonable time, upon written request to HR, at least annually. You may also request a copy of your personnel file once per year, which Launch will provide within a reasonable time (generally within 21 days of your request, in accordance with RCW 49.12.250 as amended in 2024).
Inspection will occur in the presence of HR or their designee, at a mutually convenient time. You may add written comments to any disputed item in your file.
The Company restricts disclosure of your personnel file to authorized individuals within Launch. Any request for information contained in personnel files must be directed to HR at hr@launchindustries.biz. Disclosure of personnel information to outside sources will be limited. The Company will cooperate with requests from authorized law enforcement or local, state, or federal agencies conducting official investigations or as otherwise legally required.
California-resident employees: Cal. Lab. Code §§ 1198.5, 432, 226 provide separate inspection-and-copy rights. See the California Addendum.
